Illinois High School Basketball - Glenbard South knocks off Metea Valley
January 11, 2025: Aurora, IL 60502 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL) and the host Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL), observed Glenbard South's basketball team overcome Metea Valley by a margin of 47-37.
The Raiders (18-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL). The Bulldogs come into the Upstate Eight challenge with a 5-17 record. In their last challenge, Riverside-Brookfield dropped by Glenbard East (Lombard, IL), 60-55, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers (Wheaton, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Metea Valley will attempt to better on its 4-13 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 11-8 record after their 41-32 league loss to Batavia (Batavia, IL).
