Kansas High School Basketball - Goessel thwarts Solomon
January 11, 2025: Goessel, KS 67053 The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Goessel Bluebirds (Goessel, KS) and the visiting Solomon Gorillas (Solomon, KS), observed Goessel's basketball team knock off Solomon by a score of 52-34.
The Bluebirds (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Little River (Little River, KS). The Redskins come into the Wheat State challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Little River prevailed over St. John (St. John, KS), 49-21, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Gorillas encounter the Canton-Galva Eagles (Canton, KS) in a Wheat State challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Solomon will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 44-36 league loss to Elyria Christian (McPherson, KS).
