The Piedmont Hills Pirates basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Gunderson Grizzlies to 16 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Pirates now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Westmont for a Blossom Valley - Santa Teresa game on Tuesday, January 14. Piedmont Hills will play a Warriors team coming off a 47-43 non-league win over Prospect (Saratoga, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, Gunderson falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Hill (San Jose, CA) to play the Falcons in a Blossom Valley - West Valley game on Tuesday, January 14.
