In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Halifax Wildcats basketball team scored a big 57-23 triumph over the Tri-Valley Bulldogs.

The Wildcats (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Juniata (Mifflintown, PA). The Indians go into the Tri-Valley contest with a 7-3 record.

In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Williams Valley Vikings (Tower City, PA) in a Schuylkill County 2 contest, on Monday, January 13.
