Georgia High School Basketball - Liberty County fells Johnson
January 11, 2025: Hinesville, GA 31313 The Liberty County Panthers basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Johnson Atomsmashers to 31 in the Panthers league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Cross for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. Liberty County will confront a Stingrays team coming off a 72-43 non-league win over Bridges Prep (Beaufort, SC). The Stingrays record now stands at 9-8.
With the loss, Johnson falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Atomsmashers travel to Calvary Day (Savannah, GA) to confront the Cavaliers in a AAA Region 3 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Cavaliers go into the game with a record of 7-7. Calvary Day won 64-42 in their recent league game against Beach (Savannah, GA)
