Wisconsin High School Basketball - Menomonie thwarts Onalaska
January 11, 2025: Menomonie, WI 54751 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Menomonie Mustangs (Menomonie, WI) and the visiting Onalaska Hilltoppers (Onalaska, WI), observed Menomonie's basketball team knock off Onalaska by a score of 55-45.
The Mustangs (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Chippewa Falls (Chippewa Falls, WI). The Cardinals come into the Big Rivers challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, Chippewa Falls dropped by Eau Claire North (Eau Claire, WI), 63-32, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Hilltoppers battle the Aquinas Blugolds (La Crosse, WI) in a Mississippi Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Onalaska will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Blugolds come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 69-32 league win over La Crosse Central (La Crosse, WI).
