Iowa High School Basketball - WACO fells New London
January 11, 2025: Wayland, IA 52654 The WACO Warriors basketball team scored 43 points and limited the visiting New London Tigers to 26 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Warriors now have a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Pekin for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. WACO will confront a Panthers team coming off a 63-42 non-league loss to Sigourney (Sigourney, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-6.
With the loss, New London falls to 0-13 on the campaign. The Tigers host Van Buren County (Keosauqua, IA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 5-6. Van Buren County lost 41-34 in their recent non-league game against Notre Dame (Burlington, IA)
