January 11, 2025: Pinole, CA 94564 The Pinole Valley Spartans (Pinole, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Antioch Panthers (Antioch, CA), 69-32 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they host St. Patrick-St. Vincent for a bout on Tuesday, January 14. Pinole Valley will play a Bruins team coming off a 47-10 league loss to Saint Mary's (Albany, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Antioch moves to 1-9 on the season. The Panthers travel to Berkeley (Berkeley, CA) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 14. The Yellowjackets come into the outing with a record of 3-6. Berkeley lost 37-14 in their recent non-league outing against Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA)
