The Bulldogs now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Fossil Ridge for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 16. Kilgore will play a Panthers squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Nacogdoches moves to 0-2 on the year. The Dragons host Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, TX) to play the Tigers in a 5A Region 2 District 10 bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-0.
