Louisiana High School Soccer - Ursuline Academy knocks off Riverdale
January 11, 2025: New Orleans, LA 70118 The Ursuline Academy Lions (New Orleans, LA) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Riverdale Rebels (Jefferson, LA), 8-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Lions now hold a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to St. Martin's Episcopal for a non-league challenge on Friday, January 17. Ursuline Academy will encounter a Saints squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Northlake Christian (Covington, LA). The Saints record now stands at 0-6.
With the loss, Riverdale moves to 2-10 on the year. The Rebels travel to Willow (New Orleans, LA) to encounter the Lions in a Division II District 7 challenge on Tuesday, January 14. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Willow lost 4-0 in their recent non-league challenge against University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA)
