New Mexico High School Basketball - Roswell triumphant over Centennial
January 11, 2025: Roswell, NM 88203 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) and the visiting Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM), observed Roswell's basketball team overwhelm Centennial by a score of 58-37.
The Coyotes (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Goddard (Roswell, NM). The Rockets come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Goddard was routed by Taos (Taos, NM), 69-40, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hawks encounter the Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Centennial will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
