January 11, 2025: Mt. Morris, MI 48458 Mt. Morris Panthers (Mt. Morris, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Powers Catholic Chargers (Flint, MI), 50-41 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Mt. Morris upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Panthers travel to Durand (Durand, MI) to face the Railroaders in a non-league match on Monday, January 13. The Railroaders enter the match with a record of 0-0.
The Chargers now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21.
