January 11, 2025: Lafayette, LA 70508 The Comeaux Spartans (Lafayette, LA) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Kaplan Pirates (Kaplan, LA), 5-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Spartans now hold a 6-4 record. They play next when they host St. Thomas More for a Division II District 4 challenge on Monday, January 13. Comeaux will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 4-1 league win over New Iberia (New Iberia, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 10-2.
With the loss, Kaplan moves to 2-6 on the year. The Pirates host Cecilia (Cecilia, LA) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 14. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Cecilia lost 8-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Tara (Baton Rouge, LA)
