New Jersey High School Basketball - Dickinson overwhelmed by Shabazz
January 11, 2026: Jersey City, NJ 07306 In Sunday's non-league test, the Shabazz Bulldogs (Newark, NJ) basketball squad trounced the host Dickinson Rams (Jersey City, NJ), by a tally of 82-41.
The Bulldogs now possess a 11-0 record. They play next when they travel to Bloomfield for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 13. Shabazz will play a Bengals team coming off a 58-34 non-league win over East Side (Newark, NJ). The Bengals record now stands at 9-2.
With the loss, Dickinson falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Hoboken (Hoboken, NJ) to play the Redwings in a Hudson County - American bout on Tuesday, January 13. The Redwings go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Hoboken lost 78-41 in their recent league bout against Hudson Catholic (Jersey City, NJ)
