Illinois High School Basketball - Westmont nips Ida Crown Jewish Academy
January 12, 2022: Westmont, IL 60559 Westmont Sentinels (Westmont, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Ida Crown Jewish Academy Aces (Chicago, IL), 52-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Westmont upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Sentinels host St. Edward (Elgin, IL) to play the Green Wave in a Metro Suburban bout on Friday, January 14. The Green Wave go into the bout with a record of 13-6. St. Edward won 58-53 in their recent league bout against Ridgewood (Norridge, IL)
Next up, the Aces play the HRK Eagles (Gurnee, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 17. Ida Crown Jewish Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 81-47 non-league loss to St. Francis (St. Francis, WI).
