Ohio High School Basketball - Vermilion crushes St. Paul
January 12, 2022: Norwalk, OH 44857 Vermilion Sailors (Vermilion, OH) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host St. Paul Flyers (Norwalk, OH), 53-29 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Vermilion upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Sailors host Sandusky (Sandusky, OH) to play the Blue Streaks in a Sandusky Bay - Lake bout on Saturday, January 15. The Blue Streaks go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Sandusky won 43-42 in their recent non-league bout against Ashland (Ashland, OH)
Next up, the Flyers play the Monroeville Eagles (Monroeville, OH) in a Firelands bout, on Friday, January 14. St. Paul will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 48-46 league win over St. Paul (Norwalk, OH).
