January 12, 2023: Aberdeen, MD 21001 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Aberdeen Eagles (Aberdeen, MD) and the visiting Mergenthaler Vo-Tech Mustangs (Baltimore, MD), saw Aberdeen's basketball squad knock off Mergenthaler Vo-Tech by a count of 75-63.
With the victory, Aberdeen upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Havre de Grace (Havre de Grace, MD) to play the Warriors in a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake challenge on Wednesday, January 18. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Havre de Grace won 47-39 in their recent league challenge against Edgewood (Edgewood, MD)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Carver Vo-Tech Bears (Baltimore, MD) in a Baltimore City challenge, on Friday, January 13. Mergenthaler Vo-Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 45-41 league loss to Dunbar (Baltimore, MD).
