The William Floyd Colonials basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Centereach Cougars to 45 in the Colonials league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Patchogue-Medford (Medford, NY). The Raiders enter the Section 11 AA-2 contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Patchogue-Medford was nudged by Riverhead (Riverhead, NY), 51-44, in a league contest.
