South Dakota High School Basketball - More overwhelms Custer
January 12, 2023: Rapid City, SD 57701 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the More Cavaliers (Rapid City, SD) and the visiting Custer Wildcats (Custer, SD), saw More's basketball squad wallop Custer by a tally of 70-42.
With the victory, More improves its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Lead-Deadwood (Lead, SD) to play the Golddiggers in a A Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Golddiggers come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Lead-Deadwood lost 91-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Wall (Wall, SD)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Red Cloud Crusaders (Pine Ridge, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 13. Custer will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 65-64 league loss to Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD).
