Iowa High School Basketball - GMG ripped by North Butler
January 12, 2023: Garwin, IA 50632 The North Butler Bearcats basketball team scored 79 points and held the host GMG Wolverines to 46 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bearcats now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newman Catholic for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. North Butler will meet a Knights team coming off a 73-72 league loss to Osage (Osage, IA). The Knights record now stands at 9-1.
The Wolverines (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Don Bosco (Gilbertville, IA). The Dons enter the Iowa Star contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Don Bosco was routed by Marquette (Bellevue, IA), 75-49, in a non-league contest.
