Alabama High School Basketball - Handley overwhelms Wadley
January 12, 2023: Roanoke, AL 36274 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Handley Tigers (Roanoke, AL) and the visiting Wadley Bulldogs (Wadley, AL), saw Handley's basketball squad wallop Wadley by a tally of 81-36.
With the victory, Handley improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Valley (Valley, AL) to confront the Rams in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 18. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 19-0. Valley won 78-62 in their recent non-league challenge against Booker T. Washington (Tuskegee, AL)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Alabama School for the Deaf Silent Warriors (Talladega, AL) in a 1A Area 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Wadley will attempt to improve on its 4-14 season record. The Silent Warriors come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 59-31 non-league loss to Indiana School for the Deaf (Indianapolis, IN).
