Minnesota High School Basketball - Holy Family Catholic crushes Watertown-Mayer
January 12, 2023: Victoria, MN 55386 Holy Family Catholic Fire (Victoria, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Watertown-Mayer Royals (Watertown, MN), 76-49 in a league bout.
With the victory, Holy Family Catholic upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Fire host Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis, MN) to play the Red Hawks in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Red Hawks come into the bout with a record of 8-4. Minnehaha Academy lost 77-63 in their recent non-league bout against Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN)
Next up, the Royals play the Rockford Rockets (Rockford, MN) in a AA Section 5 bout, on Friday, January 13. Watertown-Mayer will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Rockets come into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 76-67 league win over Brooklyn Center/Parnassus Prep (Brooklyn Center, MN).
