New York High School Basketball - North Tonawanda overwhelms Maryvale
January 12, 2023: Cheektowaga, NY 14225 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the North Tonawanda Lumberjacks (North Tonawanda, NY) and the host Maryvale Flyers (Cheektowaga, NY), saw North Tonawanda's basketball squad wallop Maryvale by a count of 70-37.
With the victory, North Tonawanda upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks travel to Newfane (Newfane, NY) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 13. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Newfane won 60-45 in their recent league challenge against Wilson (Wilson, NY)
Next up, the Flyers play the Depew Wildcats (Depew, NY) in a Section 6 Erie County III challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Maryvale will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record.
