North Dakota High School Basketball - New Salem crushes Max
January 12, 2023: New Salem, ND 58563 New Salem Holsteins (New Salem, ND) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Max Cossacks (Max, ND), 54-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, New Salem upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Holsteins host Center-Stanton (Center, ND) to play the Wildcats in a B Region 5 bout on Friday, January 13. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Center-Stanton lost 50-40 in their recent non-league bout against Medina/Pingree-Buchanan (Medina, ND)
Next up, the Cossacks play the Richardton-Taylor Raiders (Richardton, ND) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Max will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 79-24 league loss to Trinity (Dickinson, ND).
