California High School Basketball - Poly nudges Varsity Opponent
January 12, 2023: Riverside, CA 92506 Poly Bears (Riverside, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Varsity Opponent (, ), 46-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Poly upgrades its record to 14-8 on the season. The Bears host Rancho Verde (Moreno Valley, CA) to clash with the Mustangs in a Ivy bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 12-9. Rancho Verde lost 58-56 in their recent non-league bout against Etiwanda (Etiwanda, CA)
Next up, the clash with the American International Academy (Inkster, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Varsity Opponent will attempt to upgrade on its 240-755 season record. The go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 62-54 non-league win over Varsity Opponent (, ).
