Connecticut High School Basketball - New Milford tops Brookfield
January 12, 2023: Brookfield, CT 06804 New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Brookfield Bobcats (Brookfield, CT), 46-31 in a league bout.
With the victory, New Milford upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Green Wave host Maloney (Meriden, CT) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 4-4. Maloney lost 33-29 in their recent non-league bout against Bristol Central (Bristol, CT)
Next up, the Bobcats play the Bethel Wildcats (Bethel, CT) in a Southwest - Patriot bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Brookfield will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 53-19 non-league win over Wilbur Cross (New Haven, CT).
