January 12, 2023: New Matamoras, OH 45767 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Frontier Cougars (New Matamoras, OH) and the visiting Buckeye Trail Warriors (Lore City, OH), saw Frontier's basketball squad wallop Buckeye Trail by a tally of 52-27.
With the victory, Frontier improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Paden City (Paden City, WV) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-10. Paden City won 37-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Clay-Battelle (Blacksville, WV)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Cambridge Bobcats (Cambridge, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Buckeye Trail will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 0-14 record after their 50-29 league loss to Bellaire (Bellaire, OH).
