Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Carbondale Area Chargers (Carbondale, PA), 64-57 in a league bout.

With the victory, Old Forge upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Lakeland (Jermyn, PA) to play the Chiefs in a Lackawanna 3 bout on Monday, January 16. The Chiefs come into the bout with a record of 6-6. Lakeland won 54-49 in their recent league bout against Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA)
