Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Paul Central overwhelmed by Como Park
January 12, 2023: St. Paul, MN 55117 The Como Park Cougars basketball team scored 88 points and restricted the visiting St. Paul Central Minutemen to 63 in the Cougars non-league victory on Thursday.
The Cougars now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burnsville for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Como Park will battle a Blaze team coming off a 50-46 non-league loss to Shakopee (Shakopee, MN). The Blaze record now stands at 3-9.
The Minutemen (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Robbinsdale Cooper (New Hope, MN). The Hawks come into the non-league contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Robbinsdale Cooper triumphed over St. Anthony Village (Minneapolis, MN), 68-46, in a league contest.
