The Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Native American Community Academy Eagles to 48 in the Coyotes non-league victory on Thursday.

The Coyotes now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Cottonwood Classical Prep will battle a Vikings team coming off a 56-29 non-league win over Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Vikings record now stands at 9-7.

The Eagles (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Academy for Technology and The Classics (Santa Fe, NM). The come into the 2A District 2 contest with a 8-3 record.
