Louisiana High School Basketball - Sumner ripped by Doyle
January 12, 2023: Livingston, LA 70754 The Doyle Tigers basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Sumner Cowboys to 17 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dutchtown for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Doyle will battle a Griffins team coming off a 53-22 non-league win over St. Joseph's Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Griffins record now stands at 17-3.
The Cowboys (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Amite (Amite, LA). The Warriors enter the 3A District 7 contest with a 17-3 record. In their last contest, Amite triumphed over Albany (Albany, LA), 49-48, in a league contest.
