California High School Basketball - University Prep Academy thwarts Eastside College Prep
January 12, 2023: East Palo Alto, CA 94303 The University Prep Academy Golden Eagles (San Jose, CA) basketball knocked off the host Eastside College Prep Panthers (East Palo Alto, CA), 30-18 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Golden Eagles (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Cristo Rey (San Jose, CA). The Lions go into the Private School - South test with a 12-1 record. In their last test, Cristo Rey notched a victory over Cindy Avitia (San Jose, CA), 57-16, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Menlo-Atherton for a non-league test on Monday, January 16. Eastside College Prep will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 53-37 league win over Carlmont (Belmont, CA). The Bears record now stands at 11-2.
