January 12, 2023: Riverhead, NY 11901 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Ward Melville Patriots (East Setauket, NY) and the host Riverhead Blue Waves (Riverhead, NY), saw Ward Melville's basketball squad wallop Riverhead by a tally of 57-21.
With the victory, Ward Melville improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign.
Next up, the Blue Waves confront the Bellport Clippers (Brookhaven, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Riverhead will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record.
