New Mexico High School Basketball - Los Alamos trounces Penasco
January 12, 2023: Penasco, NM 87553 The Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) basketball crushed the host Penasco Panthers (Penasco, NM), 45-19 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Hilltoppers (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, Rio Rancho was trounced by Roswell (Roswell, NM), 51-45, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Pecos for a non-league test on Saturday, January 14. Penasco will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 39-14 non-league loss to Capital (Santa Fe, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 1-3.
