California High School Soccer - Buckley nudges Heritage Christian
January 12, 2023: Sherman Oaks, CA 91423 Buckley Griffins (Sherman Oaks, CA) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Heritage Christian Warriors (Northridge, CA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Griffins confront the Milken Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA) in a Liberty challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Buckley will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 6-0 league loss to Archer School for Girls (Los Angeles, CA).
The Warriors now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maranatha for a Olympic challenge on Tuesday, January 17. Heritage Christian will confront a Minutemen team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Whittier Christian (La Habra, CA). The Minutemen record now stands at 1-3.
