In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Grand Junction Tigers basketball team scored a decisive 70-31 triumph over the Grand Valley Cardinals.

In their next game, the Tigers meet the Palisade Bulldogs (Palisade, CO) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 14. Grand Junction will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record.

With the defeat, Grand Valley moves to 0-2 on the year. The Cardinals host Meeker (Meeker, CO) to meet the Cowboys in a match on Saturday, January 14. The Cowboys enter the match with a record of 0-1. Meeker lost 55-28 in their recent league match against Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO)
