Massachusetts High School Basketball - Bedford overwhelms Wayland
January 12, 2024: Bedford, MA 01730 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Bedford Buccaneers (Bedford, MA) and the visiting Wayland Warriors (Wayland, MA), saw Bedford's basketball squad wallop Wayland by a tally of 73-50.
With the victory, Bedford improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Waltham (Waltham, MA) to play the Hawks in a Dual County - Small challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 8-0. Waltham won 52-45 in their recent league challenge against Boston Latin (Boston, MA)
Next up, the Warriors play the Acton-Boxborough Colonials (Acton, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Wayland will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Colonials come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 70-50 league win over Westford Academy (Westford, MA).
