Milford Central Wildcats (Milford, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Cherry Valley-Springfield Patriots (Cherry Valley, NY), 62-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Milford Central upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Wildcats host Morris Central (Morris, NY) to play the Mustangs in a Section 4 Tri-Valley bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 5-3.

Next up, the Patriots play the Schenevus Central Dragons (Schenevus, NY) in a Section 4 Tri-Valley bout, on Thursday, January 18. Cherry Valley-Springfield will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
