Rhode Island High School Basketball - Coventry tops Mt. Hope

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Coventry Oakers (Coventry, RI) and the visiting Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI), saw Coventry's basketball squad knock off Mt. Hope by a tally of 64-55.

With the victory, Coventry improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Oakers host Times Squared Academy (Providence, RI) to play the Eagles in a Division 2 challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Times Squared Academy won 64-61 in their recent league challenge against Toll Gate (Warwick, RI)

Next up, the Huskies play the St. Raphael Academy Saints (Pawtucket, RI) in a Division 2 challenge, on Monday, January 15. Mt. Hope will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 94-34 league win over Toll Gate (Warwick, RI).
