The Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA), 80-70 in Friday's league test.

The Bobcats (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Cartersville (Cartersville, GA). The Hurricanes go into the non-league test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Cartersville notched a victory over Cass (White, GA), 45-44, in a league test.
