Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Sharpsville trounces Jamestown
January 12, 2024: Jamestown, PA 16134 The Sharpsville Blue Devils (Sharpsville, PA) basketball crushed the host Jamestown Muskies (Jamestown, PA), 59-37 in Friday's non-league test.
The Blue Devils (3-11) will now prepare for their test against Mercer (Mercer, PA). The Mustangs go into the District 10 Region 2 test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Mercer walloped Shenango (New Castle, PA), 60-57, in a non-league test.
The Muskies now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Farrell for a District 10 Region 1 test on Tuesday, January 16. Jamestown will encounter a Steelers squad coming off a 58-51 non-league win over Union Area (New Castle, PA). The Steelers record now stands at 8-3.
