California High School Basketball - Lee Vining holds off Trona
January 12, 2024: Trona, CA 93562 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lee Vining Tigers (Lee Vining, CA) and the host Trona Tornadoes (Trona, CA), saw Lee Vining's basketball squad hold off Trona by a tally of 48-44.
With the victory, Lee Vining improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Immanuel Christian (Ridgecrest, CA) to confront the Crusaders in a Hi-Lo challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Immanuel Christian won 40-37 in their recent league challenge against Baker (Baker, CA)
Next up, the Tornadoes confront the Big Pine Warriors (Big Pine, CA) in a Hi-Lo challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Trona will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 38-33 league loss to Trona (Trona, CA).
