New York High School Basketball - North Warren Central tops Whitehall
January 12, 2024: Whitehall, NY 12887 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the North Warren Central Cougars (Chestertown, NY) and the host Whitehall Railroaders (Whitehall, NY), saw North Warren Central's basketball squad knock off Whitehall by a count of 50-42.
With the victory, North Warren Central upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Schroon Lake (Schroon Lake, NY) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Schroon Lake won 61-45 in their recent league challenge against Seton Catholic Central (Plattsburgh, NY)
Next up, the Railroaders play the Hadley Luzerne Eagles (Lake Luzerne, NY) in a Section 2 Adirondack challenge, on Friday, January 19. Whitehall will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 49-32 league win over Fort Ann (Fort Ann, NY).
