In Friday's non-league match, the host Gilmer County Titans basketball team scored a decisive 68-40 triumph over the Winfield Generals.

In their next game, the Titans meet the Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV) in a Little Kanawha - East match, on Tuesday, January 16. Gilmer County will attempt to better on its 10-0 season record.
