The Sterling Silver Knights (Somerdale, NJ) basketball knocked off the host Gloucester City Lions (Gloucester City, NJ), 45-31 in Friday's league test.

The Silver Knights (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Medford Tech (Medford, NJ). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Medford Tech went down by Trenton Catholic Academy (Trenton, NJ), 73-13, in a league test.

The Lions now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to West Deptford for a Colonial test on Tuesday, January 16. Gloucester City will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 40-33 league win over Lindenwold (Lindenwold, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 5-7.
