The Overland Trailblazers routed the visiting Thornton Trojans basketball team by a final score of 84-25 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Trailblazers face the Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO) in a 6A Centennial game, on Wednesday, January 17. Overland will attempt to move on its 11-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 9-4 record after their 67-54 non-league win over Rocky Mountain (Fort Collins, CO).

With the defeat, Thornton moves to 4-6 on the year. The Trojans travel to Gateway (Aurora, CO) to face the Olympians in a 5A/4A Colorado game on Tuesday, January 16.
