Parkland Trojans (Allentown, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Pleasant Valley Bears (Brodheadsville, PA), 50-11 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Parkland upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host Easton Area (Easton, PA) to play the Rovers in a Lehigh Valley bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Rovers come into the bout with a record of 5-1. Easton Area lost 62-50 in their recent league bout against Bethlehem Catholic (Bethlehem, PA)

Next up, the Bears play the Wilson Area Warriors (Easton, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Pleasant Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record.
