Ohio High School Basketball - Lancaster crushes Westland
January 12, 2024: Galloway, OH 43119 Lancaster Golden Gales (Lancaster, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Westland Cougars (Galloway, OH), 49-14 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lancaster upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Golden Gales host Watkins Memorial (Pataskala, OH) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Watkins Memorial won 23-19 in their recent league bout against Zanesville (Zanesville, OH)
Next up, the Cougars play the Franklin Heights Falcons (Columbus, OH) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Westland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
