January 12, 2024: Snellville, GA 30078 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the South Gwinnett Comets (Snellville, GA) and the host Brookwood Broncos (Snellville, GA), saw South Gwinnett's basketball squad hold off Brookwood by a tally of 53-48.
With the victory, South Gwinnett improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA) to play the Eagles in a challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Collins Hill lost 46-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Brookwood (Snellville, GA)
Next up, the Broncos play the Denmark (Alpharetta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Brookwood will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 62-24 non-league loss to Buford (Buford, GA).
