January 12, 2024: Orlando, FL 32819 Dr. Phillips Panthers (Orlando, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Ocoee Knights (Ocoee, FL), 49-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Dr. Phillips upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Panthers host Lake Highland Prep (Orlando, FL) to play the Highlanders in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 8-0.
Next up, the Knights play the Mainland Buccaneers (Daytona Beach, FL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 15. Ocoee will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 0-0 record after their 50-50 non-league Orlando Christian Prep (Orlando, FL).
